After the first two days were postponed due to inclement weather the
Hyundai Tournament of Champions tried once again to kick off the 2013
PGA Tour Season. The wind wreaked havoc at the event all afternoon.
Ben Curtis tried to putt on the 11th green, but a gust of wind blew
his ball all the way off the green. Matt Kuchar was set to tee off
when another gust knocked his ball off his tee. PGA officials finally
had enough and put an end to a disastrous day after just one hour of
play. The PGA insists on playing a scheduled 54 holes with the
possibility of 36 holes on Monday.
