Philadelphia Flyers Defeated by Devils

The Flyers blew an early two-goal lead in a 5-3 loss to the New Jersey Devils. Ilya Bryzgalov allowed four goals on only 18 shots. Wayne Simmonds, Mike Knuble and Matt Read scored in the loss.

The Devils rallied from two goals down to beat the Flyers for the second time this season. New Jersey scored twice in the second to overcame a 3-1 deficit then in the final stanza David Clarkson netted his team leading tenth goal of the season to break the deadlock as the Devils would go on to win 5-3.

These Atlantic Division rivals meet three more times this season, once more in New Jersey and twice in Philadelphia. Cine sign off.
