Injured star linebacker Michael Mauti was with his teammates for the last time as Penn State hosted Wisconsin on Senior Day Saturday afternoon. Wisconsin senior Montee (Mon-Tay) Ball set the NCAA all-time scoring record with his 97th career touchdown in the first quarter. However the Nittany Lions would respond in the final game of a challenging year. Senior quarterback Matt McGloin found Jesse James for a go-ahead fourth quarter score. But Penn State couldn't celebrate until overtime when Kyle French missed a 44-yard field goal that would've tied the game. The Nittany Lions edged the Badgers 24-21 to finish the season at 8-4. Wisconsin will play in next week's Big Ten Championship game despite being 4-4 in the league.
