Woods fired an eight under par 63 yet finished in a tie for fourth place due to the hot play of Nick Watney. The 31-year old American made eleven birdies on his way to a course record ten under par 61. Watney started the day in a tie for seventh but quickly rode his putter to the top of the leaderboard. Watney's one-stroke victory over Robert Garrigus and Bo Van Pelt netted him a cool $1.3 million.
